In the spotlight today: Meet Club member Rachel Kennedy, whose individual style comes from pairing anachronistic accessories with modern pieces.

My signature look: My uniform is a glossy black silk midi-skirt, a low-heeled sandal, and one of my many menswear-inspired vests—topped off with a headband—for a look that’s put-together, but easy to keep consistent. (I grew up in the 90s, and pretty much never left that style era!) I’ll accessorize with my 1980s Cartier Tank Francaise—a bit of a heavy piece, so I pair it with lighter, delicate rings, or bangles with pave-set diamonds for a little extra sparkle.
My favorite designers: Ralph Lauren, Kobi Halperin, Veronica Beard, and Dior
On my fashion wish list: There’s this fantastic canvas-and-black-leather Kelly bag that Hermès released in the late 70s. I’ve only ever seen two women with it out and about on the street, but the simple cuts—and the high contrast between the canvas and dark leather—is so striking that you can’t help but notice it! I need to add one to my collection.
A fun fact about me: I lived and worked in Europe for most of my 20s—and that’s where I learned that fashion can be the key to confidence, freedom, and self-expression. It’s fascinating to me that you can change the way you perceive yourself by dressing in a way that elevates your mood! Honing in on a personal sense of style is the most fun way to reinvent yourself as many times over as you choose.
