PhotoVogue Festival: Exploring the Frontiers of Creativity. Highlights from the 2023 PhotoVogue Festival’s A.I. Symposium

This year’s PhotoVogue Festival centered around a three-day symposium, held from November 17th to 19th at Base Milano. The event gathered experts and leaders at the forefront of the A.I. revolution to engage in a comprehensive dialogue. Topics discussed ranged from legal implications and copyright issues to biases in A.I. and its impact on the documentary value of photography. The symposium also explored how governments and major tech companies perceive A.I. and discussed strategies to mitigate its risks. In addition to these critical discussions, the symposium delved into philosophical questions about human identity and celebrated the marvels of artistic creativity unbound by traditional constraints. It offered a deep dive into the intricate and multifaceted implications of A.I. in visual representation, prompting attendees to reflect on the future of human creativity and expression.

For those who couldn’t attend or wish to revisit these insightful discussions, all the panels from the symposium are now available to watch online. Discover below the rich conversations and explore the myriad ways A.I. is reshaping the realm of visual arts.
