Shake Shack’s 2024 Summer Menu Is Here

The first official day of summer is still about four weeks away (June 20, to be exact), but Shake Shack is already prepared to celebrate the season. And it’s doing so with some all-new BBQ-inspired menu items that will make you excited for summer break too.

According to the burger joint, its new summer menu includes a Smoky Classic BBQ Burger, made with “100% Angus beef topped with American cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, pickles, crispy onions, and our classic smoky BBQ sauce on a toasted potato bun.” The burger starts at $8.99.

Shake Shack is also now featuring a Carolina BBQ Burger with Fried Pickles. This burger includes that same 100% Angus beef, pepper jack cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, fried pickles, and a Carolina-style BBQ sauce that it promises is “tangy sweet,” all on a toasted potato bun. It also starts at $8.99.

Then, for something fun on the side, it’s got some new BBQ Fries, which are crinkle cuts dusted with BBQ seasoning and served with a choice of BBQ sauce, including its Shack BBQ or Carolina BBQ sauces, starting at $4.79.

Shake Shack just debuted two new menu sandwiches for the summer: Smoky Classic BBQ Burger and Carolina BBQ Burger with Fried Pickles — both of which are available now.

Finally, Shake Shack will also offer its BBQ Cheese Fries, which is essentially its BBQ Fries, but topped with cheese sauce too, starting at $5.99.

The new menu offerings are available now both in store and through the Shake Shack App. But, just like summer, these menu items are only here for a limited time, so get them while you can.

This also isn’t the only new thing happening at Shake Shack. In May, the company also shared with Food & Wine that it has partnered with Neutral Foods, the first certified carbon-neutral food company in the U.S., which now supplies Carbon Neutral Whole Milk to more than 90 Shake Shack locations in the U.S. to use for its hand-spun shakes.

“The global agriculture and food system accounts for roughly 22 to 37% of all greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, and dairy production is a significant contributor of methane, nitrous oxide, and carbon dioxide to the earth’s atmosphere,” Chris Haines, the vice president of sales and operations at Neutral Milk, explained. “Neutral is an easy solution for food service providers, like Shake Shack, to continue offering high-quality dairy milk products that taste the same but are better for the environment and lower their Scope 3 emissions.”

So, go ahead and feel good about ordering a shake with your BBQ burger too.
