Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis Make a Fashionably Festive Christmas Appearance

This Christmas morning, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children George, Charlotte, and Louis attended a morning church service at Sandringham with various members of the royal family. It’s an annual tradition: the extended Windsor clan has been spending the holidays at their private family home estate for over 160 years. For almost just as many years, they’ve headed to the nearby St. Mary Magdalene Church to celebrate the day–also making it one of the rare yearly occasions where royal watchers can see the entire royal family together.

For the occasion, eight-year-old Princess Charlotte wore a fern green double-breasted coat with a velvet collar. She smiled at the crowd as she held the hand of her mother, the Princess of Wales, who wore a royal blue Alexander McQueen coat dress for the occasion and a pair of sapphire earrings that once belonged to Princess Diana. Charlotte also donned a pair of navy blue tights and matching flats; her hair, meanwhile, featured a single braid. Her older brother, Prince George, marched by their side in a blue suit.
