Sitting court-side at an NBA game is an opportunity for fans to show off their spirit, perhaps by wearing team colors or even a favorite player’s jersey. But Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian decided to do things on their terms when they each sat front-row at a Los Angeles Lakers game this past weekend.
Lopez, joined by her husband Ben Affleck, hit the game against Golden State Warriors in a decidedly un-sporty—but very J.Lo—outfit. She wore a white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans with a visible button fly. Giving her look a heavy dose of classic J.Lo glam, she added a sherbet-hued tweed jacket from Chanel’s 2024 resort collection (which she accessorized with a coordinating quilted pale pink Chanel bag) and a pair of blue sparkly Jimmy Choo wedge boots. She accessorized with chunky gold hoops, a fistful of rings, and a silver cross necklace.

While Kardashian’s outfit lacked Lopez’s sparkles and chunky jewelry, she did show out in her own way. The reality star, like J.Lo, wore a plain white tee, though she paired it with more on-brand leather flares and pointy-toed boots. The real attention-grabber, however, was the large brown crocodile Birkin that sat on the floor of the court. (Can you imagine breaking your wrist because you trip over Kim K.’s Hermès bag mid-game?)
Honestly, you’ve gotta give it to both of them for being uncompromising to their style, even in a space that tends to demand homogeneity. Frankly, we would like to see more Birkins and tweed at the Crypto.com Arena.
