Four presidential candidates took the stage Wednesday in Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the fourth Republican primary debate, hosted by The Hill’s sister news organization NewsNation.
Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are in the spotlight as the two highest-polling candidates on stage battle for second place behind former President Trump, who is skipping the debate. Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) also joined the smallest debate stage yet.
