Tata Steel focuses on increasing iron ore production to 45 mtpa in 5 yrs

Tata Metal started its iron ore mining operation at Noamundi in 1925 and the mine will flip 100 in 2025, the Tata Metal official mentioned. Through the fifth Nationwide Conclave on Mines & Minerals in New Delhi on November 23, Noamundi iron ore mine was accorded the ‘five-star score’ for 3 consecutive years from 2017-18 for sustainable growth.
